Hello,

>From the latest email newsletter from New York Times:

Reality (on TV) Reaches Art World
By RANDY KENNEDY
Deitch Projects, a gallery in Soho, is bringing reality
television to the art world with a show called "Artstar."

It may be a little off-topic but I think somewhat related.

See related project site www.artstar.tv

Andy Warhol's 15 mins of fame comes to mind.

Kind of bizarre and maybe exploitative.

Quote:

The artists who are selected will be given a group show at Deitch Projects.
And in the true spirit of reality television, one could emerge as the big
winner and be given a solo show at the gallery, which has shown such
established art stars as Mariko Mori and Jeff Koons.

End of Q.
